I suppose the results above speak for themselves. Four miles for the entire week! I was a little tired before HIIT class on Tuesday and I'd had a headache on Monday, but decided to not be lazy and go to HIIT anyway. I was exhausted afterwards. On Wednesday my malaise developed into a full blown sinus infection. Running 8 miles was out of the question.
I held out hope that I'd feel well enough on Saturday to go for my long run. My symptoms were improving and I could sort of breath through my nose. On Saturday morning I laid in bed and weighed the pros and cons of running 16 miles. Concerned that I'd extend the illness even longer, I decided to give myself one more rest day.
So overall a very frustrating week. Today (Sunday) I felt well enough to run outside and got in 4.6 miles.
