July 5: Briefly Back at the Office

Reduce & Reuse Highlights

  • It was the first day back at the office today. I won't actually be going in regularly, but I have a few in person meetings the next few weeks. I had to pack a lunch for the first time in nearly two years! Just like I used to do, I used my cloth lunch bag and took silverware from home. I avoid using plastic bags by using plastic and glass containers instead.

  • I had leftovers for dinner.

  • We usually buy soda in cans instead of plastic containers (although Gary does like certain sodas in 2-liter containers, which you'll see in the background of some of my pictures).

  • Instead of buying Starbucks on the way to work, I brought a reusable cup of coffee. This was partially due to virtuousness but more due to forgetting how long it takes to commute (ten minutes!).
